NHPC signs MoU with Orissa Hydro Power;stock up

MUMBAI: NHPC has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Orissa Hydro Power Corporation and Government of Orissa for setting up a joint venture company for the development of three hydroelectric projects in the State of Orissa with cumulative installed capacity of 300 MW.

NHPC was at Rs 25.15, up 0.40 per cent on the NSE. It touched a high of Rs 25.30 and low of Rs 25 in trade so far.
