Nestle India gains as CFTRI clears 29 samples of Maggi noodles
Shares of Indian subsidiary of the world’s largest food company by revenue, surged 5% in trade after the company received safety clarification from CFTRI.

The company received safety clarification from CFTRI (Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysuru) has cleared all samples of its instant snack brand Maggi noodles, stating that all 29 samples tested by the research institute are clear.
Reacting to the development, the scrip gained 5.23 per cent to hit a high of Rs 6,180 on the BSE. The stock has gained 5 per cent in the year so far.
