NCDEX launches new app to access market information

KOCHI: The National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange ( NCDEX) has introduced an app to provide users access to prices and market information about commodities traded on the exchange any where anytime.

The app termed 'NCDEX App' has been developed in collaboration with Trakinvest, a leading Singapore-based financial technology firm.

To begin with the app will provide real time futures/spot prices and commodity news. In the coming weeks it will offer new features to make managing trading portfolios, joining conversations with other users and browsing through market-relevant information from the mobile phone.

"It is a smart, more personalized and intelligent tool to make it easier than ever for investors to stay in touch with the market and with each other," NCDEX MD and CEO Samir Shah said in a statement. According to Bobby Bhatia, founder and CEO of Trakinvest using the company’s technology, the dealers and wider trading community can now make important trading decisions anywhere and at anytime on their devices.

The app can be downloaded for free and the users will have instant access to prices, news, updates, market data and analysis for commodity of their choice. It is expected to help dealers, investors, traders, hedgers and corporate managers.
