Nalco rallies over 7% as net profit rises over 132%

NEW DELHI: National Aluminium Company Ltd surged over 7 per cent in afternoon trade on Wednesday after the company reported a net profit of Rs 118.94 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012, up 132.21 per cent YoY.

The company had reported a net profit of Rs. 51.22 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2011.

At 01:56 am; Nalco was trading 6.3 per cent higher at Rs 49.60. It has hit a low of Rs 47.50 and a high of Rs 51.20 in trade today.

Total Income has increased from Rs. 1577.00 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2011 to Rs. 1805.50 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2012.
