Shares of Nagarjuna Construction Company were in demand after it bagged orders worth Rs 481 crore.

MUMBAI: Shares of Nagarjuna Construction Company were in demand after it bagged orders worth Rs 481 crore.

The first order valued at Rs 449 crore is secured from the Water Resources Department of Bihar for execution of restoration of Eastern Gandak Canal to be completed over 25 months.

The second order is from MRF Limited, Chennai for construction of proposed radial tyre plant and easy tyre plant in Andhra Pradesh valued at 32 crore to be completed over 6 months.

At 12:25 pm, the stock was up 2.43 per cent at Rs 139 on the BSE.
