Microcap Surge
In the Nifty Microcap 250 index, around 30 stocks have gone up by more than 25% so far in 2025. To narrow down the list, we added another filter — we only looked at stocks that are held by more than 10 mutual fund schemes as of June 2025. When mutual funds invest in a stock, it typically indicates thorough research and analysis on their part, which can boost confidence among individual investors.
Next, we focused on high-momentum stocks — those that have risen more than 50% in 2025 so far. After applying both filters (strong performance and mutual fund backing), only 9 stocks made the cut. Interestingly, two of these stocks have become multibaggers this year. These microcap stocks have experienced significant price appreciation while also receiving strong backing from multiple mutual funds schemes. (Data Source: ACE Equity, ACE MF)
