Morgan Stanley sells 2.26 lakh shares of Piramal Enterprises for Rs 21 crore to Citigroup

NEW DELHI: Foreign fund house Morgan Stanley Asia ( Singapore) Pte today sold 2.26 lakh shares in diversified group Piramal Enterprises for over Rs 21 crore.

Citigroup Global Markets ( Mauritius) Private Limited has bought the shares in an open market transaction.

According to block deal data at BSE, Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Pte has sold 2,26,025 shares of Piramal Enterprises at Rs 940 amounting to Rs 21.24 crore.

As of March quarter, Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) Pte holds 70,39,932 shares or 4.08 per cent stake in the company, according to the shareholding pattern.

Shares of the company today settled at Rs 956.90 up 1.81 per cent on BSE.
