Morgan Stanley rejigs top deck in India, names Sanjay Shah as head

Morgan Stanley has named Sanjay Shah as the new head of its business in India. Shah was the co-head along with Aisha de Sequeira who died last month after a prolonged illness.

Sanjay, who joined Morgan Stanley in 1996, was named co-head of India equities in 2006 and co-country head in 2013.
Mumbai: Morgan Stanley has named Sanjay Shah as the new head of its business in India. Shah was the co-head along with Aisha de Sequeira who died last month after a prolonged illness.

Sanjay, who joined Morgan Stanley in 1996, was named co-head of India equities in 2006 and co-country head in 2013.

Morgan Stanley has also named Samarth Jagnani as head of India, global capital markets while Kamal Yadav and Sachin Wagle will take over as co-heads of India investment banking. Kamal and Sachin will be responsible for senior client coverage and the ongoing management of the investment banking business in India.
