Morgan Stanley buys SKS Microfinance shares at Rs 121 per share

Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) bought 45 lakh shares of SKS Microfinance through a BSE bulk deal on Wednesday at Rs 121 apiece.

MUMBAI: Morgan Stanley Asia (Singapore) bought 45 lakh shares of SKS Microfinance through a BSE bulk deal on Wednesday. The shares were bought for Rs 121 apiece, valuing the deal at over Rs 54.4 crore. The shares were sold by Deutsche Securities Mauritius in a similar deal.

On Tuesday, Deutsche sold 50 lakh shares of the micro-lender to The Royal Bank of Scotland for Rs 117.15 per share, following which the share price was locked at the upper circuit for the rest of the trading session.
