Morgan Stanley buys 96 lakh Unitech shares for Rs 29.44 cr

MUMBAI: Foreign fund house Morgan Stanley Mauritius purchased 96 lakh shares of realty firm Unitech worth Rs 29.44 crore through an open market transaction.

According to the bulk deal trade data available on the National Stock Exchange, the fund house bought 96 lakh shares at Rs 30.67 a piece, aggregating to Rs 29.44 crore.

Unitech shares today settled 16.87 per cent up at Rs 33.95 from its previous close on the NSE.

In an other bulk trade transaction, another foreign fund house Copthall Mauritius Investment sold 9.15 lakh shares of pharmaceutical firm Jubilant Organosys worth Rs 8.23 crore.
