Morgan Stanley acquires 8.5% in Hinduja Foundries

Foreign Fund house Morgan Stanley has acquired a 8.50 per cent stake in Hinduja Foundries upon conversion of depository receipts into shares.

MUMBAI: Foreign Fund house Morgan Stanley has acquired a 8.50 per cent stake in Hinduja Foundries upon conversion of depository receipts into shares.

In a disclosure to the Bombay Stock Exchange the Hinduja Group company today said Morgan Stanley & Co International Plc has converted over 15.87 lakh shares, in the form of depository receipts, into ordinary shares representing 8.50 per cent stake in the company.

The above conversion was executed on March 12, the disclosure added.

Shares of Hinduja Foundries closed at Rs 50.20, down 0.40 per cent on the BSE.
