MMT reports profit of $24.2 million in Q3FY24

Nasdaq-listed MakeMyTrip reported gross bookings of $ 2088.3 million in its results for the quarter ended December 31, up 22% year on year. The company reported a profit of $24.2 million for the quarter under review, up from $0.2 million in quarter three of fiscal year 2023 . The company said it delivered its highest ever quarterly gross bookings, revenue and profit on the back of strong travel demand during the seasonally strong quarter.

The company stated its revenue as per IFRS grew by 26.9% year on year in constant currency to $214.2 million in quarter three of this fiscal from $170.5 million in quarter three of financial year 2023. EBITDA grew by 105.6% year on year to $29.4 million in quarter three of this fiscal compared to $14.3 million in quarter three of financial year 2023.

MakeMyTrip stated its adjusted operating profit registered a growth of 69.5% year on year and reached $33.4 million in quarter three of financial year 2024 compared to $19.7 million in quarter three of financial year 2023.


Rajesh Magow, group chief executive officer of MakeMyTrip, said during this seasonally strong quarter, the company witnessed 'robust' demand for leisure travel across all domestic and international destinations leading to the highest-ever quarterly gross bookings, revenue, and profit for the group.
