Minority shareholder sells 2% stake in Future Capital Holdings

A minority shareholder, Sameer Sushil Sain, of Future Capital Holdings today sold nearly 2 pc of his stake in the company for Rs 19.50 crore.

MUMBAI: A minority shareholder, Sameer Sushil Sain, of Future Capital Holdings today sold nearly two per cent of his stake in the company for Rs 19.50 crore through open market transactions.

Sain offloaded 12,50,000 shares amounting to 1.92 per cent stake in financial services firm Future Capital Holdings for Rs 156 apiece, according to bulk deal data available with the stock exchanges.

The shares were purchased by Essay Commercial Resources, the data showed.

As of March quarter, Sain held 2,679,103 shares or 4.13 per cent stake in Future Capital Holdings (FCH).

Shares of the company closed at Rs 154.60 apiece on the BSE, marginally down from their previous close.

FCH is a provider of financial services across consumer and wholesale businesses.
