Mercator Lines Ltd said on Monday its board has approved raising upto $300 million via sale of debt or equity from the domestic or overseas markets.

MUMBAI: Mercator Lines Ltd said on Monday its board has approved raising upto $300 million via sale of debt or equity from the domestic or overseas markets.
It has also approved investments into its units Mercator Oil & Gas Ltd and Mercator Petroleum Pvt Ltd and raised the investment limit of foreign institutional investors in the company to 74 percent, it said in a statement.
Shares in the firm ended up 4.09 percent at 122.20 rupees in a weak Mumbai market.
