McNally Bharat jumps 5% on Rs 108 crore order win

The order relates to construction of 544 colony houses and a community hall, including internal electrification at Khinda in Odisha.

NEW DELHI: Shares of McNally Bharat Engineering Company went up over 5 per cent on Wednesday after the company bagged an order from NLC India, the erstwhile Neyveli Lignite Corporation.

The order is worth of Rs 107.97 crore.

The stock climbed 4.54 per cent to hit a high of Rs 40.25 on the BSE.


The order relates to construction of 544 colony houses and a community hall, including internal electrification at Khinda in Odisha, the company said in a filing to the BSE.

The completion period of the entire work is 24 months, McNally Bharat told the exchange.

“The scope of work of the contract includes providing necessary labour, materials, construction equipment, tools and plants, appliances, temporary works, supply and delivery to site, storage at site, construction and electrical lighting works for the proper completion of work in accordance with the tender specifications,” it said.

It added that a detailed T2 network for the execution of the project will be submitted by the company for the total value of the project with price break-ups of all items, as per which the payment will be regulated.

Shareholders of the company will closely monitor execution of the projects.
