Maytas Infra bags Rs 222.25 cr contracts from Power Grid

MUMBAI: Maytas Infra Ltd has bagged Rs 222.25 crore contracts for four rural electrification works form Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd under Rajeev Gandhi Grameen Vidyut Yojana. Under the scheme the company will be electrifying 4125 villages.

The company will be executing projects on turnkey basis and the scope involves design, supply erection, testing and commissioning in Khurda and Sundergrah districts of Orissa and West Midnapore district of West Bengal.

Details of each contract is as below

Rs 37.34 crore in Sundergarh, Orissa.

Rs 38.14 crore in Khurda, Orissa.

Rs 75.92 crore in Midnapore (Package A), West Bengal.

Rs 70.85 crore in Midnapore (Package B), West Bengal.

The company shares were up 0.08 per cent to Rs 493.95 on BSE.
