Mawana Sugars promoter group entities rejig shareholding
The promoter group of Mawana Sugars have executed an inter-se share transfer which saw Chairman Siddharth Shriram buying nearly 2.6 crore scrips.

NEW DELHI: The promoter group of Mawana Sugars have executed an inter-se share transfer which saw Chairman Siddharth Shriram buying nearly 2.6 crore scrips for about Rs 26 crore from group firm Usha International.
With this transaction, the chairman has increased his stake to 66.48 per cent from 0.06 per cent. On the other hand, Usha International's stake has fallen to 2.56 per cent from 68.97 per cent earlier.
In a filing to the BSE, Mawana Sugars said Siddharth Shriram had purchased 2,59,77,735 shares on June 20 for Rs 25.97 crore through inter-se transfer between promoters.
These shares were acquired from Usha International Ltd, the filing added.
Mawana Sugars share price rose by 0.71 per cent on BSE to close at Rs 7.10 apiece.
With this transaction, the chairman has increased his stake to 66.48 per cent from 0.06 per cent. On the other hand, Usha International's stake has fallen to 2.56 per cent from 68.97 per cent earlier.
