Maruti Udyog September sales up 13.5%

MUMBAI: Maruti Udyog’s total sales grew 13.5 per cent to 67,448 units in September, compared with 59,420 units in the same month previous year. Passenger car sales grew 11.3 per cent to 62,672 units from 56,334 units same period last year.

Exports during the month were up 55 per cent at 4,362 units from 2,814 units year ago. At 10:31 am on the BSE, shares of Maruti Udyog were at Rs 991, down 0.86 per cent from Friday.
