Market Now: These stocks surged up to 20% today

NEW DELHI: Shares of Karma Energy (19.97 per cent), Optiemus Infra (19.93 per cent), E-Land Apparel (19.80 per cent), Assam Company (19.54 per cent), Pitti Lamination (19.35 per cent) and Gyscoal Alloys (19.19 per cent) surged up to 20 per cent on NSE in afternoon trade on Wednesday, defying bearish market sentiments.

Shares of Nucleus Software (18.68 per cent), Reliable Data Services (18.29 per cent), Cords Cable Ind (17.50 per cent), Parabolic Drugs (17.44 per cent) and Nakoda (16.67 per cent) rallied over 15 per cent.

However, Nu Tek India (down 8.33 per cent), Axis Bank (down 8.29 per cent), Ybrant Digital (down 8.21 per cent) and Transwind Infrastructures (down 8 per cent) cracked over 8 per cent.

The Nifty50 index was trading 8 points lower at 10,226, while the 30-share Sensex was 14 points up at 32,623 around 1.45 pm (IST).
In the Nifty 50 index, 18 stocks were trading in the green, while 31 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Mas Financial Services, Optiemus Infra, Pitti Lamination, Nucleus Soft, Excel Realty, Fedders Lloyd, Kamdhenu Ispat, Pennar Ind, MOIL, Financial Tech, Maan Aluminium, Sanwaria Agro hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.

However, Nu Tek India, Ybrant Digital, Dena Bank, TV Vision, Sri Adhikari, Khaitan Elect, JMT Auto, Bohra Industries, JITF Infralogistics, Moser Baer, Alps Industries, SBI Life Insurance Company touched their new 52-week lows.
