Market Now: These stocks surged up to 20% on Thursday

NEW DELHI: Shares of Onelife Capital (up 20 per cent), Morepen Labs (up 19.94 per cent), Hisar Metal Industries (up 19.92 per cent), ESS DEE Aluminium (up 19.87 per cent), ANG Industries (up 19.69 per cent), Alps Industries (up 18.56 per cent) and 63 moons technologies (up 18.16 per cent) jumped up to 20 per cent in Thursday's trade as the domestic equity markets traded in the positive territory.

Stocks such as Punj Lloyd (up 16.75 per cent), LCC Infotech (up 16.67 per cent), Nakoda (up 16.67 per cent), Prakash Steel (up 16.67 per cent), Future Consumer (up 16.61 per cent), Jindal Photo (up 16.60 per cent) and Future Retail (up 15.57 per cent) surged over 15 per cent.

Market benchmarks BSE Sensex and Nifty50 were trading almost flat in the afternoon session as gains in Eicher Motors, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Hindalco, Sun Pharma and Bank of Baroda were offset by losses in Bharat Petroleum, ACC, UltraTech Cements and Tata Motors.

Indiabulls Housing Finance continued its bullish run, gaining over 4 per cent intraday to hit 1318.

The scrip got traction after global brokerage firm CLSA raised the target price of the company to Rs 1,500 from Rs 1,380.

Mahindra & Mahindra, Sun Pharma, Hero MotoCorp, Lupin and State Bank of India stood as the top Sensex gainers.

Benchmark Nifty50 index was 10 points up at 9,926, while the 30-share Sensex was 6 points up at 31,668 around 1.40 pm (IST).

In the Nifty50 pack, 30 stocks were trading in green, while 21 stocks were in red.

On BSE, 1,360 stocks were advancing whereas 1,080 stocks were lagging.
