Market Now: These stocks plunged over 5%

NEW DELHI: On the NSE, Sreeleather (down 8.77 per cent), Nu Tek India (down 8.33 per cent), Pansari Developers (down 6.90 per cent), Aarvi Encon (down 5.75 per cent), Visagar Polytex (down 5.56 per cent), Antarctica (down 5.56 per cent) and Sujana Universal (down 5.56 per cent) declined over 5 per cent in Tuesday's trade.

Equity benchmarks narrowed losses as buying emerged in realty and bank stocks.

The Nifty50 index was trading 8 points higher at 10,239, while Sensex was at 32,625, down 8 points around 10.50 am (IST).

In the Nifty pack, 29 stocks were trading in the green, while 20 stocks were in the red.

On the NSE, Nu Tek India, Sujana Universal, Malwa Cotton, TV Vision, Sri Adhikari, Khaitan Elect, SAB Events & Governance Now Media, Hindustan Media, Vardhman Poly, Punjab Sind Bank, SBI Life Insurance Company and KSS hit their fresh 52-week lows on NSE.

However, Aries Agro, Onelife Capital, Sakuma Exports, JP Power, Maan Aluminium, Genus Paper & Boards, Sasken Comm, Saregama India, Sanwaria Agro, Marathon Nextgen, BASF India and National Build touched their fresh 52-week highs today.

On the NSE, 942 stocks were advancing, compared with 630 stocks declining and 396 stocks remaining unchanged.
