Market Now: These stocks cracked over 8% defying positive market sentiment

NEW DELHI: Shares of Infibeam Incorporation (down 22.65 per cent), Ace Integrated Solutions (down 13.64 per cent), Parenteral Drugs (India) (down 8.64 per cent) and Pansari Developers (down 8.33 per cent) cracked over 8 per cent on NSE in Friday's trade even as the equity markets reflected positive sentiments.

Shares of Hindustan Motors (down 5.37 per cent), Antarctica (down 5.26 per cent) and Consolidated Construction Consortium (down 5.01 per cent) plunged over 5 per cent.

The 30-share Sensex was 144 points up at 33,992, while the 50-share Nifty50 was trading 36 points up at 10,514 around 10.25 am (IST).


Over 70 stocks, including Century Textiles & Industries, D B Realty, Fineotex Chemical, Havells India, Jet Airways (India), Jindal Saw and Jindal Steel & Power hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE in Friday's trade.

In the Nifty index, Asian Paints, Bharti Infratel, Axis Bank, Lupin, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Hero MotoCorp were among the top gainers.

However, GAIL (India), Wipro, Hindalco Industries, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Vedanta and Bharat Petroleum Corporation were trading as the losers among the Nifty stocks.
