NEW DELHI: Shares of Flexituff International (down 19.98 per cent), Fortis Health (down 7.95 per cent), Venky’s (down 5.84 per cent), Lanco Infratech (down 5.56 per cent), NDTV (down 5.07 per cent) and Hindustan National Glass (down 5.06 per cent) cracked over 5 per cent on NSE as markets remained firm in Monday's trade.

Goa Carbons (down 4.99 per cent), Capri Global (down 4.98 per cent), Shilpi Cable (down 4.96 per cent), Shriram Pistons & Rings Ltd. (down 4.94 per cent), Videocon (down 4.85 per cent) and Ajmera Realty (down 4.47 per cent) also slipped up to 5 per cent in Monday's trade.

Earlier, markets surged as the benchmark Sensex today gained 111 points to hit a fresh all-time high of 32,132 and the Nifty hit a new peak of 9,920 as positive cues from Asia spurred buying in auto, IT, metal and realty stocks.

However, the losses in FMCG, pharma and PSU bank stocks cooled off markets a bit.

Nearly 20 stocks, including Flexituff International, Fortis Health, NDTV, KSS, REI Agro and FCS Software hit their fresh 52-week low on NSE.

Benchmark Nifty50 index was 20 points up at 9,906, while the 30-share Sensex was 57 points up at 32,078 around 12.55 pm (IST).

In the Nifty50 pack, 32 stocks were trading in green, while 19 stocks were in red.

On BSE, 1,208 stocks were advancing whereas 976 stocks were lagging.
