Market now: Telecom, healthcare, metal stocks down

Barring the BSE Telecom (down 1.08 per cent), BSE Metal (down 0.36 per cent) and BSE Healthcare (down 0.30 per cent) indices on BSE, other sectoral indices were trading in green around 11.45 am (IST).

The BSE Oil & Gas index was up 1.15 per cent at around the same time, followed by Auto (up 0.69 per cent), Capital Goods (up 0.47 per cent), IT (up 0.39 per cent) and Power (up 0.36 per cent).

In the 50-share index, 29 stocks were trading in green, while 22 stocks were in red at around the same time.

Shares of Kesar Enterprises, Voltas, Emmbi Industries, PPAP Auto, Lakshmi Finance, Larsen & Toubro Infotech Ltd., Eimco Elecon, Suven Life Sci, Sujana Metal hit their fresh 52-week highs.

On the other hand, Rasoya Proteins, Shekhawati Poly, Videocon Industries, Value Industries, Green Fire Agri, Shilpi Cable Tec, Zodiac JRD MKJ, SRS Ltd, Hindustan Dorr, Ortel Communications Ltd. and Reliance Communications touched their fresh 52-week low levels.
