Market Now: Stocks that plunged over 5% today

NEW DELHI: The benchmark equity index BSE Sensex was trading 112.79 points up at 31208.49 around 1.20 pm (IST) in Tuesday's afternoon trading session on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

On the NSE, Visesh Infotec (down 33.33 per cent), Pan India Corp (down 16.67 per cent), Northgate Com (down 10.00 per cent), Uttam Value Stl (down 9.09 per cent), Compuage Infocom (down 7.69 per cent), High Ground Ent (down 6.23 per cent), Peria Karamalai (down 5.43 per cent), Omkar Speciality (down 4.98 per cent), Kesar Enterpr (down 4.97 per cent), MBL Infra (down 4.96 per cent), Videocon Ind (down 4.93 per cent), Shilpi Cable Tec (down 4.93 per cent), Hindustan Dorr (down 4.92 per cent), Zodiac JRD MKJ (down 4.86 per cent), Mandhana Inds. (down 4.86 per cent), Asian Hotels (W) (down 4.82 per cent), Urja Global (down 4.76 per cent), Shree Ganesh (down 4.76 per cent), Jenson Nicholson (down 4.52 per cent), Vascon Engineer (down 4.52 per cent), Regency Ceramic (down 4.38 per cent) and Shah Alloys (down 4.32 per cent) declined over 5 per cent on June 13.

In the Nifty pack, 28 stocks were trading in green, while 22 stocks were trading in red around the same time.

On the NSE, Northgate Com, Compuage Infocom, High Ground Ent, Omkar Speciality, Videocon Ind, Shilpi Cable Tec, Hindustan Dorr, LGB Forge, Rollatainers Ltd, DS Kulkarni Dev, Guj NRE Coke and Wipro hit their fresh 52-week low.

However, stocks that touched their fresh 52-week high today included Dhunseri Invst, PG Electroplast, Balaji Telef, Kabra Extrusion, Hilton Metal, Sona Koyo Steer, Cox & Kings and Repco Home Fin.
