Market Now: Sensex, Nifty up; these stocks jumped over 10%

NEW DELHI: Shares of GKW (20 per cent), Pioneer Distilleries (19.79 per cent), Raj Rayon (16.67 per cent), Sanghvi Forging and Engineering (12.95 per cent), MPS (12.12 per cent), Madhucon Projects (11.74 per cent) and LCC Infotech (11.11 per cent) zoomed over 10 per cent during Thursday's trade.

Stocks such as Nagarjuna Oil (9.80 per cent), Bil Energy Systems (7.69 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate (7.65 per cent), Opto Circuits (India) (7.32 per cent) and Gujarat Pipavav (7.26 per cent) rallied up to 10 per cent.

Equity benchmarks were trading in the positive territory amid positive global cues.


A fresh spell of buying was observed in pharma, IT, FMCG and auto stocks.

The 30-share Sensex was trading 75 points up at 34,577, while the 50-share Nifty index was 16 points up at 10,586 around 10:25 am (IST).

In the Nifty50 index, 23 stocks were in the green, while 27 stocks were in the red.
