Market Now: SBI, Infosys among the most active stocks in terms of value

NEW DELHI: Shares of State Bank of India (Rs 79.70 crore), Infosys (Rs 61.33 crore), HDFC (Rs 56.84 crore) and Tata Motors (Rs 53.91 crore) were trading as the most active stocks in terms of value on NSE in morning trade on Thursday.

Shares of BEL (Rs 52.71 crore), Maruti Suzuki (Rs 50.00 crore), Sun TV (Rs 49.18 crore), Sun Pharma (Rs 49.14 crore), Reliance Industries (Rs 48.32 crore), Axis Bank (Rs 47.38 crore), Bharti Infratel (Rs 47.25 crore) and Dr Reddy's Labs (Rs 42.47 crore) were also in the league.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 14 points up at 10,356, while BSE Sensex was 12 points up at 33,574 around 09:45 am (IST).

In the Nifty index, Bharti Infratel, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Eicher Motors, Ambuja Cements, Aurobindo Pharma, Lupin, Infosys and IndusInd Bank were trading as the top gainers.

However, Dr. Reddy's Laboratories, Asian Paints, State Bank of India, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Axis Bank, Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Housing Development Finance Corporation and Mahindra & Mahindra were the top losers.
