Market Now: Over 80 stocks hit fresh 52-week highs

NEW DELHI: Over 80 stocks, including TVS Electronics, Arrow Textiles, GNA Axles, HEG Ltd, Nandan Denim, Sree Rayalaseema, Marathon Nextgen, Aptech, MIRC Electronic, Jindal Worldwide, Kamat Hotels, IG Petrochem and Wheels India hit their fresh 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's trade.
However, stocks such as Tata Tele, Steel Exchange, TV Vision, Sri Adhikari, Adhunik Industries, Piramal Phytocare, Amara Raja Batt, Tera Software, Moser Baer, Nagarjuna Oil and JMT Auto touched their fresh 52-week lows.
Sensex and Nifty were trading firm, backed by buying in pharma, FMCG, bank and metal stocks.
The Nifty50 index was trading 22 points up at 10,001, while Sensex was 80 points up at 31,894, around 10.55 am (IST).
Overall, 32 shares were trading in green in the Nifty50 index, while 17 were trading in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Dr Reddys Labs, IndusInd Bank, Bharti Infratel, Cipla, Tata Steel, Coal India Ltd, Zee Ent., Tata Motors, UPL Ltd, Asian Paints and UltraTech Cement were among top gainers.
However, PowerGrid, ONGC, Bharti Airtel, HCL Tech, Reliance Industries, Indiabulls Housing Finance, BPCL, HPCL, GAIL, Aurobindo Pharma and Adani Ports SEZ were trading among the top losers.
