Market Now: Over 50 stocks hit fresh 52-week highs
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 18 points up at 11,102, while BSE Sensex was 71 points up at 36,211 around 10:55 am (IST).

NEW DELHI: Over 50 stocks including ABB India, Bharat Forge, Biocon, GHCL, Godrej Consumer Products, HCL Technologies and Hexaware Technologies hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE in Wednesday's trade.
Hind Syntex, Indiabulls Housing Finance, Infosys, Jindal Saw, Larsen & Toubro Infotech, L&T Technology Services, Mindtree, Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), Tata Elxsi, Tata Consultancy Services, Tech Mahindra and Vakrangee also joined the bandwagon of stocks that hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE.
Equity benchmarks turned positive after a fresh spell of buying emerged in PSU banks and pharma stocks.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 18 points up at 11,102, while BSE Sensex was 71 points up at 36,211 around 10:55 am (IST).
Shares of Punjab National Bank, Idea Cellular, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India and ONGC were among the most traded stocks on NSE.
In the Nifty50 index, HCL Technologies, Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and GAIL (India) were among the top gainers.
On the contrary, Bharti Airtel, Tata Motors, ICICI Bank, Asian Paints and UltraTech Cement were among the top losers.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 23 were trading in the green, while 27 were in the red.
