Market Now: Over 50 stocks hit fresh 52-week high on Thursday
In the Nifty50 pack, 16 stocks were trading in green, while 34 stocks were in red.

However, stocks such as Noesis, Prakash Steel, TN Telecom, Nitin Fire Prot, Cambridge Tech, Artemis Global Life Sciences, FCS Software and KSS hit their fresh 52-week low.
Benchmark indices opened on a positive note amid positive trading in Asian markets after the Bank of Japan said that it will keep buying assets at more or less the prevailing pace of 80 trillion yen a year.
However, it pared gains after selling emerged in IT, pharma, metal and bank stocks.
Dow Jones, S&P 500 and Nasdaq closed at record highs helped by strong Q1 earnings.
In the Nifty 50 index, ONGC, Ambuja Cements, Kotak Bank, Axis Bank, Coal India, ACC and RIL were trading in green.
However, Tata Steel, Asian Paints, Hero MotoCorp, Infosys and Vedanta were trading in red.
Benchmark Nifty50 index was 4 points down at 9,895, while the 30-share Sensex was 17 points down at 31,938 around 10.20 am (IST).

On BSE, 1,135 stocks were advancing whereas 952 stocks were lagging.
