Market Now: Over 40 stocks hit fresh 52-week low

NEW DELHI: Shares of REI Agro, Prakash Steel, Jenson Nicholson, Lanco Infratech, Ruchi Infra, Dr. Lal Pathlabs and Lloyd Electric were among 46 securities that touched their fresh 52-week low in a cautious trade on Wednesday.

On the other hand, shares of Jaypee Infra, Welspun Enterprises, Magnum Ventures, Arrow Coated, Tejas Networks, Seamec, Asian Granito, Welspun Corp, Himadri Chemicals and Excel Realty hit their fresh 52-week high in trade so far.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was trading 22 points down at 9,489, while the 30-share Sensex was 62 points down at 30,896 around 10 am (IST).

In the Nifty50 pack, 26 stocks were trading in green, while 24 stocks were in red.

Meanwhile, traders were seen buying in shipping, retail, sugar, infrastructure, power, petrochemicals and finance sectors. however, selling was visible in aquaculture, engineering, textiles, mining, banks, auto and information technology sectors.
