Market Now: Over 20 stocks hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE

BPCL, HPCL, Indian Oil Corporation, Dr Reddy's Labs and Lupin were among the top losers in the Nifty index.

Among the 50 stocks on NSE, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.
NEW DELHI: Over 20 stocks including Balrampur Chini Mills, Centrum Capital, Dhampur Sugar Mills, Diamond Power Infra and Indian Oil Corporation hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE during Thursday's trade.

Lloyds Steels Industries, SRS, Sundaram Finance Holdings, Surana Industries, Talwalkars Better Value Fitness and Vakrangee also appeared among the stocks that hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE.

Equity benchmarks moved up a little on buying in IT and select auto, bank and financial stocks.


The NSE Nifty index was trading 15 points up at 10,432, while the BSE Sensex was up 89 points at 34,030 around 11:25 am (IST).

Among the 50 stocks on NSE, 18 were trading in the green, while 32 were in the red.

HCL Tech, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra and Tata Motors were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack of stocks.

However, BPCL, HPCL, Indian Oil Corporation, Dr Reddy's Labs and Lupin were among the top losers in the Nifty index.
