Market Now: Over 160 stocks hit 52-week lows on NSE
NEW DELHI: over 160 stocks including Ajanta Pharma, Amtek Auto and Can Fin Homes hit 52-week lows on NSE in morning trade on Monday.

Century Textiles & Industries, Strides Shasun, Capacit'e Infraprojects, Eon Electric, ARSS Infra, Vakrangee, Gammon India, Rainbow Papers, Orchid Pharma, Burnpur Cement, Ruchira Papers, Alembic Pharma, Mercator and ABG Shipyard also featured among stocks that touched 52-week lows on NSE.

Equity markets were trading in the red even as Asian peers were in the green amid easing trade war worries between the US and China.

A surge in oil prices and falling rupee dealt a blow to market sentiment.

Most sectors were in the red, barring IT and PSU bank on NSE.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 12 points down at 10,584, while the BSE Sensex was 24 points down at 34,824 around 10:20 am.

In the Nifty index, 17 stocks were trading up, while 33 were down.

Hindalco, Sun Pharma, Bajaj Finance and Maruti Suzuki slipped up to 2 per cent in the Nifty index.
