NEW DELHI: Over 12 stocks including Lanco Infratech, Flexituff, OCL Iron Steel, KSS Ltd, FCS Software, Mandhana Industries, MIC Electronics and REI Agro touched their fresh 52-week low on NSE in Friday's early trade after benchmark indices opened on a negative note.

However, shares of JBM Auto, Munjal Auto Industries, Pearl Polymers, Magnum Ventures, Aditya Birla Money, Central Depository Services (India) and Rain Industries were among over 30 stocks that hit their fresh 52-week high.

Benchmark indices kicked off on a negative note on Friday tracking weak cues from global markets.

A fresh spell of selling was observed in FMCG, bank and auto stocks.

Meanwhile, rupee opened 3 paise up at 64.75 against dollar on account of selling of American currency amid concerns over a possible rate hike by the US Federal Reserve.

Nifty50 index was 0.17 per cent down at 9,658, while the 30-share Sensex was 0.16 per cent down at 31,320.56 around 10 am (IST).

In the Nifty50 pack, 17 stocks were trading in green, while 32 stocks were in red.

On BSE, 969 stocks were advancing whereas 966 stocks were lagging around the same time.
