Market Now: Over 10 stocks hit fresh 52-week lows

NEW DELHI: As many as 14 stocks, including Bharati Defence and Infrastructure, Hanung Toys and Textiles, Lycos Internet, Ruchi Soya Industries and TV Vision hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE in Monday's trade.

On the contrary, over 80 stocks, including Abbott India, Biocon, Graphite India, Maruti Suzuki India and Mastek hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE.

Equity benchmarks were trading up. The Nifty50 index was 24 points up at 10,289, while the BSE Sensex was 87 points up at 33,338 around 10.50 am (IST).

Eicher Motors, Wipro, Aurobindo Pharma, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tech Mahindra and UltraTech Cement were among the top gainers in the Nifty50 index.

However, Adani Ports, Hindalco, Vedanta, NTPC and Indiabulls Housing Finance were among the losers.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty50 index, 28 were trading in the green, while 22 were in the red.
