Market Now: Ashok Leyland, Divi's Labs, Godrej Properties among stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Over 20 stocks including Ashok Leyland, Divi's Laboratories, Godrej Properties, Gufic Biosciences, Jubilant Foodworks and Pfizer hit fresh 52-week highs on NSE during Tuesday's trade.

On the other hand, over 50 stocks, including Alok Industries, Dwarikesh Sugar Industries, Marksans Pharma and Suzlon Energy hit fresh 52-week lows on NSE.

Equity benchmark Sensex advanced on buying by domestic institutional investors amid positive leads from Asian markets following overnight gains on the Wall Street.


However, concern over falling rupee, surging crude oil prices and uninspiring earnings capped the gains.

Select bank, pharma, FMCG and financial counters were seeing buying interest, but IT, metal and auto stocks were under pressure.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 22 points up at 10,737, while the BSE Sensex was up 86 points at 35,294 around 11 am (IST).

ICICI Bank (up 6.52 per cent), Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (up 2.17 per cent) and Eicher Motors (up 2 per cent) were the top gainers in the Nifty index.
