Market Now: Archies, Advani Hotels among stocks that rallied over 10%

The benchmark equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were trading in green in the afternoon trade on Wednesday on account of buying in FMCG, telecom and financial counters.

Shares of Servotech Power Systems (19.94 per cent), Hercules Hoists (19.05 per cent), Bedmutha Ind (14.42 per cent), Pitti Lamination (14.21 per cent), Taj GVK Hotels (13.64 per cent), GSS Infotech (13.56 per cent), Royal Orchid (13.13 per cent), Kanoria Chem (12.26 per cent), Archies Ltd (12.04 per cent), Advani Hotels (11.26 per cent), Gokaldas Export (10.79 per cent) and Autolite India (10.32 per cent) were trading over 10 per cent higher at around 1 pm (IST).

The 30-share Sensex was up 59.2 points at 34454.26 at around 12.35 pm (IST), while the 50-share Nifty index was up 14.65 points at 10563.35 at around the same time.


In the Nifty 50 index, 27 stocks were trading in the green, while 23 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Taj GVK Hotels, GSS Infotech, Royal Orchid, Mishra Dhatu Nigam Ltd, EIH Associated, Asian Hotels (W), Zenith Exports, Godrej Consumer, Focus Lighting and Fixtures, Indiabull Whole, VIP Industries and Sudarshan Chem hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.

However, SRS Ltd, Bhushan Steel, Arcotech Ltd, Jaypee Infra, Diamond Power, Gitanjali Gems, Dhampur Sugar, Balrampur Chini, Supreme Infra, First Winner, HPCL and Welspun India touched their new 52-week lows in trade.
