Market Now: 80 stocks hit fresh 52-week highs today

As many as 80 stocks on NSE hit their fresh 52-week highs in the morning trade on Wednesday. The list included stocks such as Technofab Eng, Surevin BPO Services, Madras Fert, Rossell India, Renaissance Jew, Arvind SmartSpaces, BAG Films, Prestige Estate, Sobha, Bajaj Corp, Hinduja Venture, Rane (Madras), Uniply Ind, Banco Products and Shankara Building Products.

However, stocks such as Emco Ltd, National Fert, Sujana Universal touched their fresh 52-week low.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 2.10 points up at 10,372.35 around 10.05 am (IST). Overall, 30 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 20 were trading in red.

In the Nifty50 index, Coal India, Dr Reddy’s Labs, ONGC, GAIL, Hind. Unilever and Ambuja Cements were among top gainers, while Axis Bank, HDFC, UPL Ltd, Tech Mahindra and BPCL were trading in the red.

The BSE Sensex was up 12.54 points at 33631.13.

Traders were seen piling up position in textiles, tobacco, personal care, construction and petroleum, while selling were visible in electronics, rubber and auto sectors.
