Market Now: 15 stocks that hit new 52-week highs early on

Benchmark NSE Nifty index was 74.45 points up at 11,040.65 in early trade on Tuesday following global leads.

Shares of Omax Autos, Asian Hotels (E), JSPL, Silly Monks Entertainment Ltd., Shah Alloys, Excel Crop Care, JSW Steel, Arman Financial, AI Champdany, Hind Syntex, Stampede Cap, Shemaroo Entertain, Maithan Alloys, Vakrangee Soft. and Action Construction hit their fresh 52-week high during the trade on the NSE.

However, stocks such as Jenson Nicholson, SKS Textiles, Bombay Rayon, CL Educate, Sequent Sci, MRO - TEK, Uttam Value, Magadh Sugar & Energy, Shradha Infraprojects (Nagpur), Jindal Cotex and Guj NRE Coke touched their fresh 52-week lows.


Overall, 37 shares were trading in the green on the Nifty50 index while 12 lost.

In the Nifty 50 space, Hindalco Inds, Vedanta, Tata Steel, Indian Oil Corporation and Infosys were among top gainers while Zee Ent, Ambuja Cements, Eicher Motors and Tata Motors retreated.

The BSE Sensex was trading 240.80 points up at 36,038.81 at around 9.50 am (IST).

Traders were seen adding to positions in metals, mining, petroleum and cables sectors while selling was visible in aquaculture, glass, rubber, petrochemicals and textiles sectors.
