Marico Ltd. shares rise 0.92% as Sensex slides

Shares of the Marico Ltd. traded at Rs 376.9 on BSE at 01:07PM (IST) on Wednesday, up 0.92 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 233.8 and a high of Rs 403.7.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 25,868 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:07PM (IST).

The stock of Marico Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 48712.29 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 44.53, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 16.18. Return on equity (ROE) was at 34.05 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 316 stocks traded in the green, while 184 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 59.48 per cent in the Marico Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2020 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 23.72 per cent and 3.35 per cent, respectively.
