Marico Ltd. shares rise 0.83% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Marico Ltd. traded at Rs 405.05 on BSE at 01:28PM (IST) on Tuesday, up 0.83 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 233.8 and a high of Rs 439.0.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 64,470 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:28PM (IST).

The stock of Marico Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 52328.9 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 45.66, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 11.73. Return on equity (ROE) was at 34.05 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 325 stocks traded in the green, while 175 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 59.47 per cent in the Marico Ltd. as of 31-Dec-2020 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 24.16 per cent and 2.12 per cent, respectively.
