Marico Ltd. shares decline 1.33% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Marico Ltd. traded at Rs 333.75 on BSE at 02:25PM (IST) on Tuesday, down 1.33 per cent from previous close.

The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 233.8 and a high of Rs 403.7.

Earlier, the stock saw a opening in the morning.


A total of 355,086 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 02:25PM (IST).

The stock of Marico Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 43139.37 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of 42.25, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 14.2. Return on equity (ROE) was at 33.77 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 387 stocks traded in the green, while 112 stocks were in the red.

Promotor Holding
Promoters held 59.46 per cent in the Marico Ltd. as of 31-Mar-2020 while overseas and domestic institutional investors owned 22.69 per cent and 3.89 per cent, respectively.
