Manpasand Beverages receives letter of caution from Sebi

The company has disclosed incorrect information in respect of the educational qualification of Bipin Rathod

NEW DELHI: Manpasand Beverages on Friday informed bourses that it has received a letter of caution from markets regulator Sebi for delaying disclosure of an event.

The market regulator in a letter said that with reference to the company’s letter dated July 12 to Sebi and its filings to BSE and NSE on July 11 and July 19, 2019, it has been observed that Manpasand Beverages has made delayed disclosure of the resignation of Company Secretary and compliance officer to the stock exchange.

Further, the company also disclosed incorrect information in respect of the educational qualification of Bipin Rathod, a director, through the same has been rectified now, the letter said.


“The aforesaid delay and error in disclosure are viewed seriously and you are hereby advised to be cautious in future and ensure compliance with all applicable provisions of the Sebi rules and regulations,” the regulator said.

The company informed about the same during the market hours. As a result, shares of the company pared their day’s gains and closed 2.63 per cent down at Rs 27.80. On the other hand, the benchmark BSE Sensex closed 52 points higher at 37,883.
