Mangalam Cement up 4% on likely buyback

Despite the Sensex having dipped by 3 per cent on Wednesday, Mangalam Cement was on upward trend after the company informed the BSE of a possible buyback.

MUMBAI: Despite the Sensex having dipped by 3 per cent on Wednesday, Mangalam Cement was on upward trend after the company informed the BSE of a possible buyback.

The board is scheduled to meet on Nov 22 to consider buying back its shares, the company said.

Mangalam Cement shares closed at Rs 47.75 on BSE, about 4 per cent higher.
