New Delhi: The Competition Commission of India (CCI) on Tuesday said it has approved the merger of 51 Malabar Group's companies into Malabar Gold and Diamonds. Most of the 51 Malabar companies are engaged in jewellery business, the regulator said.

Separately, the regulator on Tuesday dismissed a case in which the complainant had accused Nissan Motor India of anti-competitive practices pertaining to the termination of a dealership agreement. The CCI found no prima facie case that Nissan had violated competition rules.
