MUMBAI: News that the company is considering a foray into power generation saw shares of Mahalaxmi Rubtech Ltd shoot up 6 per cent to Rs 41.35 on BSE on Wednesday.

The board of the textiles firm is scheduled to meet on Oct 7 to consider setting up wind power projects for captive consumption.
