MUMBAI: Financial services major Macquarie Bank today offloaded nearly 74 lakh shares in five companies, including Aurobindo Pharma and Raymond, for Rs 74 crore through the open market route.

In addition, Macquarie Bank also sold shares of Punj Lloyd, Century Textiles and Jain Irrigation Systems, according to bulk deal data available with the stock exchanges.

Individually, Macquarie Bank offloaded 19.40 lakh shares of Aurobindo Pharma for Rs 35.10 crore, while 7.17 lakh shares of Century Textiles were sold for an estimated Rs 15.34 crore.

Macquarie Bank offloaded nearly 23 lakh scrips of Jain Irrigation Systems in a transaction valued Rs 12.10 crore, the bank also shed 3.88 lakh scrips of Raymond for Rs 7.25 crore.

The banking entity sold 20.31 lakh shares of Punj Lloyd for Rs 4.26 crore.

In a separate bulk deal, Swiss Finance Corporation Mauritius sold 21.56 lakh shares of Sintex Industries for Rs 4 crore.
