Lupin share price: The company has launched its Rivaroxaban Tablets USP, 2.5mg, in the United States.
The shares of Indian pharmaceutical company Lupin rose 2.6% to their day’s high of Rs 2,081.95 on the BSE on Monday, March 10, after the company launched its Rivaroxaban Tablets USP, 2.5mg in the United States.

“Global pharma major Lupin Limited (Lupin) today announced that it has launched Rivaroxaban Tablets USP, 2.5 mg, following the final approval of its Abbreviated New Drug Application from the U.S. FDA,” the company said in a regulatory filing.

Rivaroxaban Tablets USP, 2.5 mg, is bioequivalent to Xarelto Tablets, 2.5 mg, meaning it has the same active ingredient, absorption rate, and therapeutic effect as the Janssen Pharmaceuticals product.


It is prescribed to reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events, such as heart attacks and strokes, in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD). Additionally, it helps lower the risk of major thrombotic vascular events in individuals with peripheral artery disease (PAD), including those who have recently undergone lower extremity revascularization due to symptomatic PAD.

Rivaroxaban Tablets USP, 2.5 mg (RLD Xarelto) had estimated annual sales of USD 446 million in the U.S. (IQVIA MAT January 2025), the company informed.

On Friday, the shares of Lupin closed flat at Rs 2,028.90 on the BSE.
