Lupin Ltd. shares decline 0.33% as Sensex climbs

Shares of the Lupin Ltd. traded at Rs 968.6 on BSE at 01:06PM (IST) on Wednesday, down 0.33 per cent from previous close.

The scrip quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 505.0 and a high of Rs 1034.55.

Earlier, the stock saw a gap up opening in the morning.


A total of 45,805 lakh shares changed hands on the counter till 01:06PM (IST).

The stock of Lupin Ltd. commands a market value of Rs 43956.63 crore.

The stock traded at a price-to-earning (P/E) multiple of -94.42, while the price-to-book value ratio stood at 3.55. Return on equity (ROE) was at -2.18 per cent, according to exchange data.

In the BSE500 pack, 315 stocks traded in the green, while 185 stocks were in the red.

Promoters held 46.64 per cent in the Lupin Ltd. as of 30-Jun-2020 while foreign and domestic institutional investors owned 21.31 per cent and 11.94 per cent, respectively.
