Lupin, Lancor Holdings among top losers on BSE

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity benchmark BSE Sensex was trading 52.29 points up at 37,167.17 on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Shares of Shyam Century Ferrous (down 16.86 per cent), Niraj Cement (down 13.77 per cent), Lancor Holdings (down 11.35 per cent), KG Denim (down 11.05 per cent), Jindal Hotels (down 10.17 per cent), HP Cotton Textile Mills (down 9.92 per cent), Indbank Merchant Banking (down 9.73 per cent), Solitaire Machine Tools (down 9.68 per cent), Swastika Investmart (down 9.53 per cent), BN Rathi Securities (down 8.48 per cent) and Lupin (down 5.17 per cent) were among the worst performers.

In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks were trading in the green, while 19 stocks were in the red.


The Nifty index was trading 21.70 points up at 11,178.70.
